With the rapid aging of the population, many elderly individuals suffer from multiple chronic diseases simultaneously, making it difficult for specialized services alone to meet the growing health service needs of the people. Against this backdrop, close collaboration among multidisciplinary teams has become particularly crucial, as it can effectively integrate resources and combine expertise from various fields to tailor more precise and personalized medical solutions for patients.  To further enhance industry communication and cooperation, improve the professional standards of general medicine in Leshan City, promote the widespread application of new technologies, materials, and knowledge, and advance innovation and progress in general medicine, the Leshan General Medicine Academic Exchange Conference was successfully held offline on November 22, 2025, jointly organized by the Leshan General Medical Quality Control Center and the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association.  Centered on the theme of "Strengthening the Foundations of General Medicine to Empower Primary Healthcare," the conference invited experts, scholars, clinicians, and educators in the field of general medicine to explore new pathways for industry development.
