Antibacterial drugs, as the primary agents for combating infections, have played a significant role in safeguarding human health. However, with their widespread use, issues such as drug resistance, adverse reactions, irrational application, and even abuse are seriously threatening human health. To promote the rational use of antibacterial drugs, effectively control bacterial resistance, and ensure medical quality and safety, the "Precision Application, Jointly Addressing Resistance" Multidisciplinary Symposium on the Rational Use of Antibacterial Drugs was successfully held in Chongqing on September 13, 2025, hosted by the Chongqing Medical Association and the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association. The symposium invited multiple domestic professors to deliver academic lectures on the field of anti-infection, which will advance the precise application of antibacterial drugs and address resistance collaboratively.
