With the rapid advancement of AI technology, promoting the intelligent transformation of laboratories while strictly adhering to the ISO 15189 international standard has become an inevitable trend in the development of modern medical testing technology. To actively address the global impact of AI on the testing industry, explore high-quality development pathways for laboratories empowered by big data and AI technologies, achieve deep integration of new technologies with traditional testing models, and focus on solving key challenges currently faced by the industry, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association and the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Western Theater Command General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army successfully organized the "Laboratory ISO 15189 Quality Management System and Intelligent Construction Training Course" on November 29, 2025 [Project No.: 2025-11-01-067 (National)].  This training course was designed based on the practical needs of clinical laboratory medicine, taking into account the difficulties encountered by laboratory professionals in their work and potential cognitive biases. It incorporated cutting-edge technological trends and practical applications to create a well-rounded training program. Renowned domestic experts in laboratory medicine and clinical fields were invited to deliver a series of specialized lectures. By interpreting expert consensus, guidelines, and operational standards, the training combined theoretical instruction on the application of new technologies in clinical testing, quality control, clinical challenging case analysis, real-world experiences with ISO 15189, and comparative regulations with practical experience sharing. Together, participants explored pathways to enhance laboratory quality management and the future direction of intelligent construction, fostering mutual exchange and collective progress.
