China has a high incidence of liver diseases, with conditions such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer posing serious threats to public health. To thoroughly implement the Healthy China strategy, advance the prevention and control of liver diseases to an earlier stage, and enhance the standardized diagnosis and treatment capabilities as well as early detection and intervention proficiency of medical institutions at all levels, the "Seminar on Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment, Early Detection and Early Intervention," organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held online on October 23, 2025.

The seminar aimed to address the severe challenges in the prevention and treatment of liver diseases in China, with a focus on eliminating viral hepatitis, standardizing the management of fatty liver disease, preventing and treating complications of cirrhosis, and improving early screening and diagnosis of liver cancer. In response to the urgent demands of the Healthy China strategy for advancing the prevention and control of major diseases and improving the homogeneity of diagnosis and treatment quality, the seminar systematically reviewed the latest evidence-based medical findings, shared typical clinical practices, and explored pathways for the promotion of appropriate technologies. Through these efforts, it sought to foster industry consensus and promote the establishment and optimization of early detection and intervention standards applicable to various medical institutions.
