The founding conference of the Specialized Committee on Foot, Ankle and Lower Limb Orthopedics

On the morning of November 22nd, the founding conference of the Foot, Ankle and Lower Limb Orthopedics Specialized Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was successfully held. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Charter of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association" and the "Management Measures for Academic Organizations of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association", after research and approval by the Secretariat of the association, and in strict accordance with the election organization procedures and requirements, the first leadership team of the special committee, including the standing committee, the chairperson, and the vice-chairperson, was democratically elected. Professor Li Kainan from the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University was specially appointed as the honorary chairperson. Professor Zhang Hui from West China Hospital of Sichuan University was elected as the first chairperson. Professor Cheng Xiangjun from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Professor LAN Hai from the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University, Professor Luo Gang from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Professor Xu Yangbo from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, Professor Yuan Chengsong from the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University, Professor Zhang Bin from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, and Professor Zhang Yu from Sichuan Provincial Orthopedic Hospital were elected as vice chairpersons (in alphabetical order of surnames) (Preface). At the meeting, the Party working group of the special committee was established simultaneously, with Comrade Zhang Hui serving as the group leader, Comrade Zhong Lang in charge of discipline inspection and organizational work, and Comrade Yuan Chengsong responsible for publicity work.
