The development of clinical specialty capabilities is the fundamental task of hospital construction and development, serving as a crucial foundation for medical institutions to provide patient care. Documents such as the "Healthy China 2030" Plan Outline and the Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Public Hospitals all emphasize the need to strengthen clinical specialty development. The National Health Commission has specifically issued the Guidelines on Promoting the Development of Clinical Specialty Capabilities to guide medical institutions in enhancing their clinical specialty services and quality safety standards, better serving high-quality hospital development and the Healthy China strategy.  Aimed at implementing national policies and supporting medical institutions in building specialized and distinctive disciplines, improving clinical specialty management systems and operational mechanisms, exploring multidisciplinary innovation, and establishing a robust medical quality and safety management system for specialties, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association has specially organized the "Clinical Specialty Capability Enhancement Initiative" series of academic conferences, which will be held from May to December 2025. The current conference will take place offline on November 24, 2025.  This series of conferences focuses on topics such as specialty capability assessment, specialty development planning, discipline group construction, clinical specialty management, medical technology innovation, and talent team development. Renowned experts will be invited to share advanced experiences, analyze typical cases, and discuss common challenges and solutions in specialty capability development, thereby promoting the continuous improvement of clinical specialty capabilities in China.
