To enhance the diagnostic, treatment, and prevention capabilities of healthcare professionals in the field of acute stroke, and to ensure that patients receive timely and efficient medical services, the 2025 Sichuan Provincial Continuing Medical Education Program—"Advances in Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Stroke in Primary Hospitals," project number: 25-001-03070953, was successfully held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Dujiangyan People's Hospital. The event was jointly organized by Dujiangyan People's Hospital and the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association.
The conference specially invited neurology experts from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, and Chengdu Third People's Hospital to deliver lectures. The aim was to raise healthcare professionals' awareness of the importance of cerebrovascular diseases, standardize clinical practices, and ensure patient medical safety. The course content covered advances in reperfusion therapy beyond the time window for acute cerebral infarction, the latest research trends in stroke diagnosis and treatment, advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, new developments in drug therapy, and best practices in patient management. The training not only imparted knowledge but, more importantly, established an interdisciplinary communication platform, allowing healthcare professionals with different backgrounds—including physicians, pharmacists, and nursing staff—to learn from each other, share experiences, and engage in in-depth discussions on clinical issues.
