To promote the development of the health management discipline and establish an academic exchange platform, the "2025 Academic Conference of the Health Management Committee," jointly organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association and the Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences·Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, and hosted by the Health Management Committee of the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held in Chengdu on December 5, 2025. Under the theme of "Focusing on Weight Management Strategies to Support Primary Health Management," the conference attracted participants including health management committee members and medical professionals from weight management and related fields across various levels of medical institutions. In-depth discussions and exchanges were conducted on cutting-edge concepts, practical approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration in health management.   

  At the opening ceremony of the conference, Ai He, Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, and Professor Liu Yuping, Honorary Director of the Health Management Special Committee, were invited to deliver speeches. They emphasized that the development of the health management discipline must adhere to evidence-based practices and prioritize practical application. They also encouraged participants to translate the outcomes of their exchanges into concrete actions to enhance professional competence and serve grassroots communities, jointly promoting standardized development and innovative practice in the discipline.

  The academic conference focused on the core topics of weight management and grassroots health promotion, providing in-depth discussions on their pivotal role in chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and primary care services. Experts from various disciplines elaborated on the positioning and implementation strategies of weight management within the comprehensive health service system, covering dimensions such as multidisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based medicine, digital intelligence applications, and health management for special populations. The entire conference was immersed in a strong academic atmosphere, with speakers generously sharing their expertise and delivering cutting-edge yet practical content. Listeners listened attentively and engaged actively. The event not only offered valuable knowledge updates and skill insights to participants but also established an efficient cross-disciplinary exchange and collaboration platform, effectively promoting the dissemination and integration of new health management concepts and technologies into grassroots practices.
