To further strengthen the standardized construction and management of pathology departments in medical institutions at all levels in Chengdu High-tech Zone and ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of pathology work, on October 15, 2025, a team of four experts from the Pathology Quality Control Sub-Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone conducted a comprehensive guidance and inspection of our medical laboratory and the pathology department of Chengdu Huayin Medical Laboratory.

This guidance was conducted in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Construction and Standardization of Pathology Departments (Trial)" issued by the National Health Commission, the "Inspection Standards for Pathological Quality Management in Sichuan Province", and the "Implementation Guidelines for Supervision and Inspection Standards of Pathology Departments in Tertiary/Secondary Hospitals in Chengdu (Revised Edition 2024)" issued by the Chengdu Municipal Health Commission. The guidance content covers department setup, personnel allocation, specimen submission process, application form filling, norms for pathological specimen examination and sampling, quality control of routine pathological slide preparation norms, pathological diagnosis norms, cytological diagnosis norms, etc. The inspected institutions attached great importance to this guidance and actively prepared for the inspection.

After the guidance was completed, the expert group provided on-site feedback on the quality guidance results to the relevant functional departments of the two institutions. The relevant management departments of each institution all expressed that they would actively rectify the opinions put forward by the experts and hoped that the district quality control sub-center would organize more quality guidance activities to promote the continuous improvement of the quality of all work in the pathology departments of medical institutions in the High-tech Zone.
