Forging Safety with Zeal, Embarking on a Journey with United Strength — “Uniting Hearts to Forge Defense Lines, Gathering Strength to Safeguard People’s Well-being.” At this critical juncture when medical quality and safety are drawing heightened attention and the blood safety guarantee system continues to improve, the “Inaugural Conference and First Academic and Scientific Research Achievements Seminar of the Blood Safety Committee of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association,” jointly organized by Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association and co-hosted by Chengdu Fifth People’s Hospital, was successfully held in Chengdu from December 26 to 27. Representatives from hospitals at all levels across the province, blood centers, research institutions, and related fields gathered together to witness the establishment of the Blood Safety Committee of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association. This not only represents a concrete action to implement the “Healthy China” strategy and strengthen the bottom line of medical safety but also marks a new starting point for integrating industry resources, building a platform for exchange and collaboration, promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements, and advancing the high-quality development of blood safety initiatives in the region.

After the inauguration ceremony, the Specialized Committee convened its first plenary committee meeting. Professor Ao Zhengcai, the Chairperson, elaborated on the development goals and core tasks of the Blood Safety Committee. He also provided a comprehensive outlook and strategic plan for the committee's key initiatives moving forward, actively driving advancements in medical quality and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements within the field of blood safety.
Under the organized guidance of the heads of the clinical, scientific research, and youth working groups, participating committee members engaged in multi-faceted and constructive in-depth exchanges, focusing on various dimensions of blood safety. The collision of ideas and the sharing of insights provided rich inspiration and practical approaches for the work of the Specialized Committee.
