On the afternoon of November 13, 2025, Zhu Yuanchun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu Qingyang District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, led a delegation to visit the association for an exchange and discussion. Both sides engaged in in-depth conversations on topics such as the transformation and development of maternal and child health institutions, the integration of medicine and engineering, and industrial collaboration. Together, they explored new pathways for maternal and child health services under the current circumstances.

During the visit, Secretary Zhu and the delegation focused on inspecting the demonstration exhibition area of medical-engineering integration and innovation achievements, expressing high recognition for the association's practical accomplishments in areas such as industrial collaboration and the translation of outcomes.

Secretary Zhu emphasized that currently, Qingyang District Maternal and Child Health Hospital is actively promoting the expansion and transformation of its service offerings. The hospital plans to focus on developing specialized services such as child psychology, optometry and vision care, and maternal and child health management in its new facility. She noted that myopia prevention and control is a critical public health issue that impacts the future demographic quality of the nation, and it also serves as an ideal intersection for both parties to leverage their respective strengths and serve community families. To this end, she proposed jointly advancing this effort through pragmatic and efficient project-based collaboration, with the "Optometry Center" as the first synergistic project.

Director Feng of the association’s Medical-Engineering Integration Collaborative Innovation Center stated that the center will fully support the maternal and child health hospital in introducing cutting-edge technologies and expert resources. Together with the hospital, the center aims to develop a demonstration project that reassures the government, satisfies the public, ensures sustainable development, and genuinely benefits the grassroots level. In the future, leveraging the Community Child Health Management Committee, an integrated service system of "screening—intervention—management" can be established. This will create a regional benchmark for child health and achieve a strategic upgrade from medical services to health management.

This exchange marks the entry of both parties into a new phase of substantive and collaborative progress. By integrating the association's scientific and technological resources and industrial capabilities with the hospital's clinical scenarios and public service advantages, both sides are committed to creating innovative demonstrations in the fields of medical-engineering integration and maternal and child health. This collaboration will inject sustained momentum into the development of regional maternal and child health services, jointly fostering a healthy future that benefits the public.
