In order to implement the key tasks of deepening medical reform and continuously enhance the service capabilities of grassroots medical institutions, further improve the service quality and efficiency of community health centers, and ensure the standardized provision of basic medical services, on behalf of the Health Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Zone, Chengdu High-tech Medical Association organized relevant experts from provinces and cities to conduct the 2025 annual basic medical performance assessment for 11 community health centers in the area on January 16, 2026.

This assessment was conducted by an expert panel consisting of medical experts, infection control experts, pharmacy experts, nursing experts, and medical quality control experts. They evaluated based on 28 indicators. Each expert group held a pre-assessment meeting before the official assessment and provided training on indicator interpretation. They adhered to unified standards and scales, and upheld the principles of fairness, impartiality, and justice. They effectively utilized the performance assessment to promote the sustainable and healthy development of community health centers.
The expert assessment team conducted on-site evaluations at 11 community health centers in Chengdu High-tech Zone. At the same time, experts provided on-site guidance for the work of each community health center. The entire assessment and review process aimed to promote construction through evaluation, improvement through evaluation, integration of evaluation and construction, and focused on the essence. Through the assessment and review, it aimed to promote the connotation construction of community health centers in Chengdu High-tech Zone, guide the public welfare operation direction of grassroots medical institutions, enable health gatekeepers to better serve the community people, and enable the people to gain more sense of gain.
After the assessment work officially began, the experts from each group conducted on-site reviews of documents and materials, sampled prescription medical records, conducted interviews with personnel, and analyzed and summarized data. They fully affirmed some distinctive and outstanding work carried out by the community health centers, and provided detailed guidance on some specific issues. The personnel from each community health center who were conducting the inspection listened carefully to the suggestions of the expert group and promptly recorded the relevant problems.
Through the basic medical performance assessment of community health service centers: Firstly, by establishing and improving the performance assessment mechanism of community health service centers, we aim to promote continuous improvement in service capabilities and quality of these centers, striving to provide safe, effective, convenient and economical medical and health services to the people. Secondly, in accordance with the requirements of the new era's health and wellness work policy "focusing on the grassroots level", we will adopt multiple measures to comprehensively enhance the service capabilities at the grassroots level and promote the rapid establishment of an orderly hierarchical medical treatment pattern.
Each community health center has taken this assessment as an opportunity to continuously summarize its working experience, effectively promoting the in-depth development of public health and basic community medical services, and providing better health services for the residents.
