In recent years, new technologies, concepts, and surgical approaches for thoracic diseases have continuously emerged and been rapidly applied in clinical practice, greatly improving the prognosis and quality of life for patients with thoracic conditions. However, these rapid advancements have also highlighted an urgent need for knowledge updates and standardized practices. To systematically understand the latest developments in the field of minimally invasive treatment for thoracic diseases, explore technical challenges and consensus, standardize clinical procedures, and promote the optimization of multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment models, the Seminar on New Advances in Minimally Invasive Treatment of Thoracic Diseases, organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association and hosted by Xichang City People’s Hospital, is scheduled to be held in Xichang on October 25, 2025.

This conference will focus on the cutting-edge applications of minimally invasive techniques and delve into the latest research findings in the treatment of lung cancer, mediastinal diseases, chest wall conditions, and other thoracic disorders. Additionally, several top thoracic surgery experts from the province will be invited to share their valuable experiences and explore the future development directions of minimally invasive surgery together with other specialists.
