On the morning of January 13, 2026, Pang Bo, President of Chengdu Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to North Sichuan Medical College, led a delegation to visit the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association for work exchange.
Prior to the meeting, Feng Huaizhi, Director of the Medical-Engineering Integration and Collaborative Innovation Center, accompanied the leaders of Xinhua Hospital on a tour to review the progress and milestone achievements of relevant projects.

During the symposium, Director Feng Huaizhi, on behalf of the Medical Association, extended a warm welcome to President Pang Bo and his delegation. He systematically presented the Association’s operational model and work achievements, covering its functional positioning, development planning and implementation pathways, as well as industrial clustering strategies. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, strategic layout in the consumer healthcare sector, disciplinary collaboration and capacity enhancement, as well as synergies in informatization and digitalization.

President Pang Bo spoke highly of the efforts made by the High-tech Medical Association in deepening academic collaboration both domestically and internationally, building multidisciplinary platforms, strengthening the cultivation of young talents, promoting the clinical translation of research achievements, and carrying out health science education.

Xinhua Hospital can leverage the international medical channels of the High-tech Medical Association to explore undertaking international medical projects. Together, they can strive to build a model for the transformation of medical service models in large private hospitals, while advancing the tripartite cooperative ecosystem of "primary care + association + private hospital."
Both parties agreed that, as the chair unit of the Clinic Industry Innovation Alliance, Xinhua Hospital can provide backend support to the alliance. By leveraging its disciplinary advantages and talent reserves, it can offer services such as medical technology training and specialized capacity enhancement to alliance members. This will help establish a "hospital-clinic" graded diagnosis and treatment and two-way referral mechanism, thereby facilitating the flow of high-quality medical resources to grassroots levels. Xinhua Hospital will utilize the High-tech Medical Association’s full-chain service system—"finding experts, projects, capital, and industrial implementation"—to screen and match high-quality projects in biopharmaceuticals, high-end medical devices, and other fields. These projects will undergo clinical validation and demonstration applications at the hospital, creating replicable and scalable model projects that can then be effectively promoted within the Clinic Industry Innovation Alliance.

Both sides unanimously expressed that they will take this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen coordination and cooperation, promote complementary advantages, integrate industry resources and professional expertise, and jointly write a new chapter in the high-quality development of the healthcare sector.
