On the morning of February 6, 2026, a delegation of department directors and experts from North Sichuan Medical College Affiliated Chengdu Xinhua Hospital visited the society for a project discussion and exchange meeting. The meeting focused on transformation trends in the healthcare industry, technological innovation applications, and resource integration enablement. Bringing together representatives from Chengdu Xinhua Hospital and several high-quality industrial projects, the event fostered consensus through in-depth dialogue and envisioned the future through precise matchmaking, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the healthcare industry.
Before the meeting, the attending guests jointly visited the offline demonstration platform of the society's Med-Engineering Integration Collaborative Innovation Center, gaining an on-site understanding of the center's transformation of scientific and technological achievements and collaborative innovation model in the areas of medical innovation-driven development and industrial services.
During the meeting, Feng Huaizhi, Director of the Med-Engineering Integration Collaborative Innovation Center, on behalf of the society, extended a warm welcome to the heads of various departments and experts from Xinhua Hospital attending the meeting. He clearly stated that the society will provide systematic empowerment to Xinhua Hospital in four major directions: strategic synergy, AI and digital capability building, introduction of advanced technologies, and expansion of consumer healthcare. The center will also assist the hospital in formulating a differentiated transformation path that aligns with its own resource endowments and regional positioning, thereby enhancing diagnostic and treatment efficiency as well as patient experience.
During the project thematic sharing session, representatives from various enterprises presented a series of innovative and practical technological achievements. They shared solutions for chronic disease management, AI+VR multidisciplinary medical solutions, and a plan for establishing a brain-computer interface medical center. Other projects included an automated lipoprotein subfraction analysis system for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease risk assessment and lipid-lowering drug efficacy evaluation, as well as PCA3 prostate cancer gene screening, among others.
The department heads and experts from Xinhua Hospital unanimously agreed that the main theme of the meeting was clear and well-articulated. They engaged in in-depth discussions on practical issues such as how to address outpatient flow, develop consumer healthcare, and build specialized departments. Meanwhile, as a pilot unit for the society's technology transfer projects, Xinhua Hospital also provides valuable clinical validation scenarios and demand feedback channels for emerging technology industries, helping to achieve mutual empowerment and win-win outcomes in the medical-industry collaboration.
All parties agreed that this meeting not only built an efficient communication platform for tripartite collaboration among the hospital, industry, and the society, facilitating precise alignment between multiple technologies and clinical needs, and clarifying the cooperation principles of 'strategic synergy, technology empowerment, and translation and implementation' — it also served as both a starting point for the society's empowerment and an important opportunity for Xinhua Hospital to proactively embrace change and carry out systemic innovation. It will help Xinhua Hospital establish a full chain of 'technology introduction — clinical validation — model output', provide an innovative collaboration paradigm for regional medical coordination and innovation translation, and jointly write a new chapter in the collaborative development of the healthcare industry.
