To deeply explore the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial lung diseases and rare respiratory diseases, promote multidisciplinary exchange and collaboration, and enhance clinical diagnosis, treatment, and research capabilities, the "2026 Conference on Advances in Interstitial Lung Diseases and Rare Respiratory Diseases" was successfully held on April 11, 2026. Hosted by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and organized by its Interstitial Lung Disease Committee, the conference centered on the theme: "Inheritance and Innovation, Precision Empowerment, Jointly Protecting Respiration." The conference attracted over 150 participants, including committee members and medical professionals working in the respiratory field from medical institutions across the country.
Opening Ceremony
At the opening ceremony of the conference, Professor Jin Hong, Chairman of the Interstitial Lung Disease Committee of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, delivered a welcoming address. Professor Jin Hong expressed gratitude for the strong support from the attending experts and participants. He noted that interstitial lung diseases and rare respiratory diseases present significant clinical challenges and emphasized the need to strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration and promote the dissemination of precision diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to grassroots levels.
