To promote the development of hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancy diagnostics and treatment, standardize medical practices, enhance management, foster international and domestic exchanges in hepatobiliary diagnostics and treatment technologies, better disseminate practical and cutting-edge therapeutic concepts, meet the urgent needs of medical professionals for new knowledge and technologies, and strengthen collaboration between academia and clinical practice, the "First Academic Conference of the Precision Radiotherapy Branch of the Sichuan Provincial International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Tumor Society, and the Multidisciplinary Committee for Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Malignancies of the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association" was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan on May 30, 2026. The conference was jointly organized by the Sichuan Provincial International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, the Sichuan Provincial Tumor Society, and the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association.

    The conference, themed "AI Empowerment·Intelligent Radiotherapy," focused on two main tracks: the deep integration of artificial intelligence and radiotherapy, as well as the precise diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies along with multidisciplinary collaboration (MDT). It brought together authoritative experts from domestic and international hepatobiliary surgery, oncology, artificial intelligence and big data, and basic research fields. Through diverse formats such as keynote presentations, case discussions, and target delineation training, the event established a high-level academic exchange platform for clinicians and researchers from within and outside the province.
