To further advance the standardized, precise and high‑quality development of blood purification specialty, and consolidate the system for blood purification diagnosis and treatment, technological innovation and talent cultivation, the “2nd General Election & Academic Conference of the Blood Purification Committee of Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association”, hosted by Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association and undertaken by Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (Chengdu No.1 People’s Hospital) and the Blood Purification Committee of Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association, was successfully held in Chengdu on August 30, 2026.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the academic conference was presided over by Professor Chen Min from Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. Ai He, Person‑in‑Charge of Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association, attended and delivered an opening address. He expressed high expectations for the future development of blood purification specialty. 02 The 2nd General Election of the Blood Purification Committee

• Nearly 120 experts from Chengdu, Jianyang, Neijiang, Ya’an, Xichang and other regions gathered to witness the 2nd general election of the Blood Purification Committee of Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association.

• Prior to the formal election, Professor Chen Min, Chairperson of the 1st Committee, delivered the Work Report of the 1st Blood Purification Committee to all committee members.

• The formal election for the 2nd Committee commenced. Upon review and democratic voting, the leadership team of the 2nd Committee, including Chairperson, Vice‑Chairpersons and Standing Committee Members, was elected. Professor Chen Min from Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine was elected Chairperson. • At the meeting, the application for establishing the Functional Party Group of the 2nd Blood Purification Committee was read out. Among the 71 Party members within the Committee, upon recommendation and discussion by the preparatory group and approval by all committee members, three comrades — Yang Quan, Chen Yang and Wen Huitao — formed the Functional Party Group. Yang Quan serves as Group Leader; Chen Yang takes charge of discipline inspection and organization work; Wen Huitao is responsible for publicity work. Led by Yang Quan, all committee members attended Party‑theory study.

  
  

• In the closing speech, Ai He, Person‑in‑Charge of Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association, congratulated the successful convening of the conference and the election of the new‑term Committee. He stated that Chengdu Gaoxin Medical Association would continue to build high‑end academic platforms and deliver comprehensive services for experts. He urged the new leadership and all members of the Committee to stay true to their original aspiration, shoulder responsibilities, devote themselves to specialty development and forge ahead, so as to elevate regional blood‑purification services to new heights. The successful convening of the general election and academic conference completed the smooth handover and inheritance of the Committee.
