Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Community Chronic Respiratory Disease Prevention Union Phase II Training Course on Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Respiratory Diseases Held Successfully

    On the afternoon of October 17, 2019, the second phase of the Community Chronic Respiratory Disease Prevention and Treatment Alliance Standardization Diagnosis and Treatment Training Course of the Chronic Respiratory Chronic Disease Union was jointly hosted by the Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital and the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association and undertaken by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association Community Professional Committee District Nanxin Community Health Service Center was successfully held. A total of 60 grassroots medical and health care personnel representatives from community health service centers and central health centers in the district participated in the meeting.

       The meeting was chaired by Cheng Min, vice president of the High-tech Zone Medical Association. Teachers Yan Haiying, Jiang Caiyu and Peng Suqiong of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital were invited as lecturers. Teacher Yan Haiying gave a wonderful speech on "New Progress in Asthma Management". Teacher Jiang Caiyu and Peng Suqiong invited on-site volunteers to do lung function report interpretation and lung function standardization operation training in the form of on-site workshop. And on-site guidance for students to operate lung function instruments.

    The successful convening of this meeting will further improve the level of prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases in primary medical institutions, and improve the standard of diagnosis and treatment and clinical practice of asthma and COPD in primary medical staff. The trainees all said that they have gained a lot through this pragmatic training, which is of great help in improving clinical work skills.
