On November 28, 2019, the founding meeting of the Dermatology and Aesthetic Branch of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association was successfully held in the old campus of Sichuan University. The founding meeting was chaired by Minister Zhou Juqiao, member of the Society and Organization Management Department.

According to the relevant provisions of the "Administrative Measures for the Academic Organization of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association", the meeting elected 71 members of the first session of the Dermatology and Aesthetics Branch of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association. There are 6 chairmen, 1 president-elect and 1 chairperson.

Professor Ran Yuping of West China Hospital of Sichuan University was elected as the chairman, Professor Lu Yonghong of the Second People's Hospital of Chengdu was elected as the chairman-elect, Li Wei of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Shen Zhu of Sichuan People's Hospital, Chen Tao Lin Zhaochun, Chengdu Borun Vitiligo Hospital, Xiong Xinchai, Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, and Xiong Xia, Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University were elected as deputy directors.

The newly elected chairman, Professor Ran Yuping, presided over the first session of the first committee of the special committee and gave a report on the work plan of the special committee.

The establishment of the Dermatology and Aesthetics Branch of the Medical Association of Chengdu High-tech Zone will further promote the construction and development of the dermatology and aesthetics discipline, and inject new power into the development of the medical and health care industry in our province.
