In order to further improve the professional level of international disease classification for coders of medical institutions in our district, standardize the filling rules of disease codes and surgical operation codes. On the afternoon of April 28, 2020, the Medical Quality Control Service Center of the Chengdu High-tech Zone organized more than 60 relevant staff from 40 medical records on the homepage of the district to participate in the Sichuan University Hospital Association's Medical Record Management Branch to organize international live disease classification and standardization webcast training.

This training was taught by Deng Chuanyan, the medical record department of the Medical Department of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, through WeChat live broadcast. Ms. Deng gave a detailed analysis and explanation from the international disease classification excluding and the use of other code analysis rules.

The medical record homepage is the most important embodiment of medical record information. The quality of the disease and surgical operation codes on the medical record homepage is also related to the retrieval and utilization of medical record information and the basis of medical payment related disease grouping. Its accuracy directly affects the quality of medical treatment. Therefore, our doctors need to attach great importance to the writing of medical records, but also to fill out the front page of the medical record and carry out accurate disease coding.

Through the live training of the online classroom, participants participated in the training and expressed that they benefited greatly, which played a positive role in promoting the standardization of disease coding and surgical operation coding in the high-tech zone.
