In order to further improve the medical statistical analysis and research skills of medical records management personnel of medical institutions in our district, gradually improve the overall scientific research academic level of medical records majors. On the afternoon of May 13, 2020, the Quality Control Service Center of the High-tech Zone organized more than 60 medical records management personnel from more than 40 medical institutions in the district to participate in a live training course on medical statistics case studies conducted by the Medical Records Management Branch of the Sichuan Hospital Association.

This training was taught by Professor Lan Yajia from the West China School of Public Health of Sichuan University via live webcast. Professor Lan explained through typical statistical cases, explaining the explanation in a simple and in-depth way, with theory and practical cases. A vivid and interesting medical statistics class was given to the trainees.

Through the study of medical statistical analysis and research skills, the medical records management personnel in the high-tech zone have improved the basic theory and basic methods of statistical design, data collection, collation and analysis, and have a guiding and helpful significance for the cultivation of statistical thinking skills and application skills.
