Entrusted by the Health Department of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Community Development Governance and Social Affairs Bureau, the Chengdu High-tech Zone Quality Control Management Service Center organized provincial and municipal review experts to conduct investigations on the district’s Jianjin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Food on the afternoon of September 4, 2020. The registration and filing of the secondary biosafety laboratory applied by the two institutions of the Pharmaceutical Inspection and Testing Institute conduct on-site expert review.

The Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone has formulated a technical review work plan according to the requirements of the second-level biosafety laboratory filing review, and invited two experts from Chengdu Center for Disease Control and Prevention Huang Wei and Chengdu Institute of Biological Products to form the review The expert team conducts on-site review and acceptance. Teacher Liao Lipeng from the Health Department of the Social Affairs Bureau of the High-tech Zone participated in the supervision work throughout the whole process, and the Quality Control Service Center of the High-tech Zone participated in the organization and coordination work.

At the review site, the two experts conducted a detailed review and acceptance of the zoning layout, personnel qualifications, facilities and equipment, medical waste management, biosafety, and system construction of the laboratories of the two institutions, and gave valuable guidance. The problems found in the review process put forward rectification requirements. This review has played a guiding and helpful role in promoting the further standardized construction and management of the laboratory.
