Entrusted by the Health Division of the Education, Culture, and Health Bureau of the High-tech Zone, the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Quality Control Management Service Center organized provincial and municipal review experts to conduct a review of the District Electronic Science and Technology University Hospital (Qingshuihe Campus) and Sichuan on November 18, 2020. The registration and filing of the secondary biosafety laboratory applied by the two institutions of the Provincial Food and Drug Inspection and Testing Institute conduct expert on-site review.

The Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone has formulated a technical review work plan according to the requirements of the second-level biosafety laboratory filing and review. It invited two experts, Liu Hua, an expert from Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital and Zhang Huanqiang, a laboratory expert from West China Hospital of Sichuan University. The evaluation expert team conducts on-site on-site evaluation and acceptance. Teacher Zhu Lingqian from the Health Department of the Bureau of Education, Culture and Health of the High-tech Zone participated in the supervision work throughout the whole process, and the Medical Quality Control Service Center of the High-tech Zone participated in the organization and coordination.

At the review site, the two experts conducted a detailed review and acceptance of the zoning layout, personnel qualifications, facilities and equipment, medical waste management, biosafety, system construction and other aspects of the laboratories of the two institutions, and gave valuable guidance. The problems found in the review process put forward rectification requirements. The review work has played a guiding and helpful role in promoting the further standardized construction and management of the laboratory.
