Chengdu High-tech Zone conducts an expert on-site review of the registration and filing of the second-level biosafety laboratory in the zone

       Entrusted by the Education, Culture, and Health Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Zone, the Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone organized provincial and municipal review experts to conduct an interview with Sichuan Yuanda Shuyang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Kaikai on the afternoon of May 18, 2021. The two units of Le Food Testing Co., Ltd. applied for the registration and filing of the secondary biosafety laboratory for expert on-site review.

        The Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone has formulated a technical review work plan in accordance with the requirements of the secondary biosafety laboratory review. Invite Director Wang Hong of Chengdu Biological Products Research Co., Ltd. and Director Cai Jiong of Chengdu Institute of Food and Drug Testing to form an expert review team for on-site review and acceptance. Teacher Zhu Lingqian from the Health Department of the Education, Culture and Health Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Zone participated in the supervision work throughout the whole process, and the High-tech Zone Medical Quality Control Management Service Center participated in the organization and coordination work.

       At the review site, the two experts conducted a detailed review and acceptance of the zoning layout, personnel qualifications, facilities and equipment, medical waste management, biological safety, and system construction of the laboratories of the two units, and gave valuable guidance. The problems found in the review process put forward rectification requirements. This review has played a guiding and helpful role in promoting the further standardized construction and management of the laboratory.
