Moon cakes, also known as moon group, harvest cake, palace cake, reunion cake, is the ancient Mid-Autumn Festival worship moon god offerings. Moon cakes were originally used to offer sacrifices to the moon god. Later, people gradually regard moon appreciation and moon cakes as a symbol of family reunion. Play lanterns
Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the three lantern festivals in China, mainly between families and children. Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns, more concentrated in the south. Dance fire dragon
Fire dragon dance is the most traditional custom of Hong Kong Mid-Autumn Festival. Since the 14th night of the 8th lunar month every year, the great Hang area of Causeway Bay holds a grand fire dragon dance for three consecutive nights. The dragon is more than 70 meters long, with 32 sections of pearl grass dragon body, filled with longevity incense. On the night of the pageant, the streets and alleys of this district are full of winding and undulating fire dragons dancing merrily under the lamplight and dragon drum music, which is very lively.
