"How to prevent medical disputes in the new situation"


 

 In order to maintain a good doctor-patient relationship, it is advocated to focus on prevention, to deal with doctor-patient conflicts in a timely, effective, and accurate manner, to minimize doctor-patient disputes, and to maintain a good order of doctors and patients. On the afternoon of March 29, the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association held the district-level continuing medical education project "How to Prevent Medical Disputes in the New Situation". A total of more than 90 medical personnel participated in the training, all from the grass-roots medical and health institutions in the high-tech zone.

 The training was taught by Chief Physician Jiang Mingrui, Chief of Medical Affairs of Chengdu Second People's Hospital. Director Jiang has been engaged in medical work for a long time and has multi-level views on preventing medical disputes. Taking the Tort Liability Law as an example, it explained the requirements of the Medical Practitioners Law for medical records management and the policy changes for the registration of medical practitioners from April 1, 2017, and elaborated the "Basic Standards for Writing Medical Records" 》 And other management regulations on the management and writing requirements of medical records, explaining the principle of responsibility of both parties in medical dispute cases, the storage and management standards of medical records and other documents; for common medical records defects, analysis of common medical records in litigation; popularization of medical disputes emergency Treatment methods, standardize the contents of various informed consents in medical behaviors, safeguard the rights and obligations of both doctors and patients; and finally combine the actual cases, analyze the laws and regulations to summarize experience, etc. The vivid explanation and the integration of theory with practice have provided everyone with an updated and more comprehensive understanding of the response to medical disputes and practicing medicine according to law, which has played a very good guiding role in the application of medical law in our primary medical institutions.

  This continuing medical education project "How to Prevent Medical Disputes in the New Situation" was a complete success and won unanimous praise from all parties. Through this training, the level of medical laws and regulations of the medical staff in the high-tech zone has been further improved, and the awareness of practicing medicine according to the law has been strengthened. It has provided certain theoretical and practical guidance for the primary medical institutions to effectively prevent and resolve doctor-patient disputes.
