The Chengdu High tech Medical Association held a preparatory meeting for the Western Precision Medicine and Molecular Pathology Professional Committee on October 11, 2023.

Members of the preparatory team: Director Yang Fan and Director He Lang of Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, Director Liu Yang of Sichuan Cancer Hospital, Director Li Xiaoxu of Cancer Hospital affiliated to Guizhou Medical University, and Director Wang Fuyong of Fukang Hospital affiliated to Xizang University attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ai He, Deputy Secretary General and Vice President of Chengdu High tech Medical Association, introduced the basic situation of Chengdu High tech Zone and High tech Medical Association; Subsequently, Director Yang Fan, the leader of the preparatory group, introduced the preliminary preparations of the special committee. Experts from each preparatory group discussed the composition structure of the members of the specialized committee and preliminarily determined the time, format, content, and scale of the establishment meeting and the first academic meeting of the specialized committee. They also discussed the development of party building activities, appropriate technologies, and continuing education after the establishment of the Special Committee. Experts from the preparatory group expressed their opinions on the development of the special committee.
