Chengdu High-Tech Zone Drug (Medical Device) Clinical Trial Base (GCP) Alliance was established on May 12, 2023, initiated and established by Chengdu Medical College and Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. The alliance has a total of 36 members, including well-known tertiary first-class hospitals, medical colleges, drug research enterprises, pharmaceutical enterprises and medical insurance institutions in Sichuan Province.

With the establishment of China's drug clinical trial innovation mechanism as the core, with the purpose of uniting industry forces, and with the purpose of training industry talents, the alliance will explore and solve the problems of management, ethical review and technology application in all aspects of clinical research.

Since its establishment, the Alliance has carried out 5 clinical trials and subject recruitment projects related to oncology, immunization and infection. The implementation of clinical trials can not only bring more choices and benefits to patients in addition to surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but also improve the overall clinical research capacity of the hospital, further regulate medical behavior, and expand the scientific and academic influence of the hospital.

In the future, the Alliance will continue to align with higher goals, whether it is in the fine management of experimental projects, the quality of clinical trial service, the output of scientific research papers, the training of clinical trial personnel, or the construction of industry norms and other aspects to seek more breakthroughs.
