With the progress of society and the improvement of people's legal awareness, medical disputes have a rising trend and have become a social focus. Many new situations and problems are reflected in the mediation, reconciliation or litigation of medical disputes, especially the hot and difficult problems in judicial practice, and the hospital lacks the corresponding practical operation ability. In order to further enhance the legal awareness and handling ability of medical institutions to prevent medical disputes and medical accidents, the "Medical Dispute Handling Training Meeting" sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was successfully held in Chengdu on November 11, 2023.

The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Ran Longyao, Chief of the General Medical Department of the Medical Department of West China Hospital of Sichuan University; Mr. Li Weidong, Vice President of Chengdu First People's Hospital, and Mr. Li Dajiang, Minister of the Medical Department of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, attended the opening ceremony and addressed the meeting.

The training invited famous experts and scholars to explain the prevention and handling of medical disputes, medical malpractice identification and medical damage identification, medical disputes and doctor-patient communication and other knowledge from different angles, with rich content. Each expert taught the content of the lecture is very detailed, and shared their experience with everyone.

The training aims to strengthen the awareness of relevant personnel of various medical institutions to prevent disputes, correctly handle the doctor-patient relationship, standardize the writing of cases, ensure medical safety, and lay a solid foundation for further strengthening the legal awareness and ability of hospital institutions to prevent and handle medical disputes and prevent medical accidents.
