On the afternoon of January 25, 2024, the Secretariat of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association organized a 2023 work summary and a 2024 work deployment meeting. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Zeng Bin, Secretary of the Party Branch and Secretary-General of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. Deng Zhiwen, Director of the Comprehensive Department of the Health Bureau of the High-tech Zone, Zhao Cong, President of the Society, and Comrade Cheng Min, Vice President of the Society, came to guide the work.

The meeting listened to the departments of the secretariat of the Society on accountability and integrity in 2023 and the work plan for 2024, and listened in writing to the party building, the construction of a clean and honest government and the work of the trade union. The Secretary-General signed a letter of responsibility for the 2024 work target with the heads of various departments.

The meeting pointed out that while seeing the achievements, we should also be soberly aware that there are still some problems in the development of the society, one is that the level of internal business capacity should be further improved, the second is that the awareness and concept of innovation should be further enhanced, and the third is that the internal process should be further improved.

The year 2024 is a key year for fully implementing the spirit of the Party's 20th Congress, and also an important year for the society to realize the 14th Five-Year development Plan. For how to consolidate and enhance the good development trend and realize the steady and long-term development of the society, President Zhao Cong put forward three requirements:

First, we must always adhere to the correct political direction. Comprehensively strengthen the leadership of the Party, improve the political position, promote the arrangement, deployment, promotion and assessment of party building and business work, strengthen the education of party members, help strengthen the ideological defense line, and carry out the work of the society in accordance with the law and regulations.

Second, we must make unremitting efforts to promote the high-quality development of the society. Pay close attention to the "specialized, refined, special, real", improve the professional and service level of the society, create and share high-quality projects, actively explore and innovate characteristic work, pay attention to the practical and timeliness of work, do good and strengthen the special committee, and enhance academic influence. It is necessary to continue to take centralized overall management as the starting point, further integrate the internal resources of the society, strengthen the training of talent cadres, continue to carry out the work of improving the capacity of the secretariat, and jointly promote the steady development of the society.

Third, we must firmly grasp and learn standardized management. The society should carry out various work in strict accordance with the Articles of Association, establish and improve rules and regulations, improve the working process, and promote the standardized operation of the society.
