In order to strengthen the academic exchange between medical institutions, popularize and improve the theory and skills of blood purification vascular access and Fabry disease. The "Blood Purification Committee Vascular Access and Fabry Disease Academic Conference" was jointly sponsored by Sichuan Geriatrics Society, Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and Chengdu First People's Hospital, and jointly organized by the Nephrology Committee of Sichuan Geriatrics Society and the Blood Purification Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association on March 23 was successfully held in Chengdu. The conference aims to build a standardized, standardized and systematic management and application of blood purification vascular access and the diagnosis and treatment of Fabry disease. A total of more than 100 medical personnel from inside and outside the province engaged in related professions participated in the meeting.

    The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Professor  Min Chen, Chairman of the Blood Purification Committee of the high-tech Medical Association.  Zejun Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee and president of Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Fan Xue, supervisor of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech to congratulate the convening of the meeting and thank the organizers, experts and representatives of the meeting.

    We have invited renowned experts and scholars from both within and outside the province, including Professor Tianlei Cui, Professor Li Zhou, and Professor Wei Qin from West China Hospital of Sichuan University; Professor Fei Deng and Professor Wenyan Wang from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital; Professor Zhiqiang Duan from Air Force Chengdu Hospital; Professor Jiali Liu from North Sichuan Medical College Affiliated Hospital; Professor Yu Zhou from Chongqing Medical University Affiliated First Hospital; Professor Fengping Wang from Chengdu Second People's Hospital; Professor Min Chen from Chengdu First People's Hospital; Professor Quan Yang from Langzhong City People's Hospital;Professor Hen Xue from Ya'an City People'sHospital ;andProfessor Nan Mao from Chengdu Medical College AffiliatedHospital. They will deliver special lectures on topics such as the establishment and maintenance of vascular access, management of complications related to vascular access, advancements in research on vascular access.

    At the end of the meeting, Professor Min Chen of Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine announced the official launch of the "rare disease Fabry disease screening Project", and awarded 12 medical institutions for the Blood purification Special Committee to participate in the "rare disease Fabry disease screening project".

    Through the successful holding of this conference, it will build an important academic exchange platform for the scientific research and clinical practice of vascular access, help to further improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of vascular access doctors, provide a higher level of medical services for dialysis patients, and promote the high-quality development of nephrology.
