In order to promote the discipline development, personnel training and scientific and technological innovation of sports medicine in western China, improve the level of people's health services, and promote practical and cutting-edge diagnostic concepts to gather physicians and technical talents in sports medicine related fields, so that more sports medicine professionals can benefit from them. On May 18, 2024, sponsored by Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association and co-sponsored by Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association Sports Medicine Special Committee and Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University, the "Founding Conference of Sports Medicine Special Committee and the first academic Conference" was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
More than 100 experts in the field of sports medicine from major hospitals in the province attended the founding meeting of the sports medicine Special Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. According to the relevant provisions of the Constitution of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the Measures for the Management of Academic Organizations, the General Assembly passed deliberation and democratically elected the Standing Committee, Chairman, deputy chairman and other members of the first professional committee leadership. At the meeting, the functional party group of sports medicine Professional Committee was established. Among the 62 Party members of the professional committee, after recommendation and discussion, the special Committee unanimously agreed to form the functional Party group of the Professional Committee by Comrade Tang Xiaoyu, Comrade Li Lang and Comrade Zhou Kai: Comrade Tang Xiaoyu as the leader of the Party's working group, Comrade Li Lang is responsible for discipline inspection and organization work, Comrade Zhou Kai is responsible for publicity work.
