In order to improve the core skills and pharmaceutical care ability of pharmacists in medical institutions in our district, further fulfill the responsibilities of pharmacists, accelerate the transformation of pharmaceutical care, and promote pharmaceutical care to be close to patients, close to clinical practice and close to society. Chengdu High-Tech Zone Pharmaceutical Quality Control Sub-Center held the "2024 High-tech Zone Pharmaceutical Knowledge and Skills Competition" on December 25, 2024, with a total of 18 contestants from medical institutions in the district participating.

The competition is divided into two sections: theoretical examination and prescription case review and analysis. In order to ensure the fairness and justice of the competition, 5 experts from the Pharmaceutical Quality Control branch were invited as review experts to strictly check all aspects of the competition.

The theoretical examination questions cover the role of drugs, drug contraindications, adverse drug reactions, etc., and comprehensively examine the professional knowledge reserves of each participant.

In the face of the review and analysis of prescription cases, the contestants were calm, thoughtful and calm, reflecting the flexible use of stored knowledge in the actual use of drugs, close service to patients, and strict performance of the duties of pharmacists.

Through this competition, we will improve the core skills and pharmaceutical service capabilities of pharmacists in medical institutions in our district, accelerate the transformation of pharmaceutical services, and further strengthen the medical quality management of medical institutions in high-tech zones.
