In order to better promote the management and development of daytime surgery and perioperative period in Chengdu and Chongqing, improve the business and management level of medical staff, promote the exchange and learning of relevant personnel, and improve the safety of perioperative patients. The provincial follow-up project "Day Surgery and Perioperative Management Development Academic Exchange Meeting and the First Chengdu-Chongqing Sleep Disorder Anesthesia Diagnosis and Treatment Forum" (Project No. 24-001-18001460) and the inaugural Conference of Wenjiang District Anesthesia Quality Control Center was successfully held in Wenjiang District on September 6-7, 2024, 2024, jointly sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and Chengdu Daytime Surgery Quality Control Center, and co-sponsored by the Affiliated Central Hospital of Chongqing University of Technology.

On September 7, in a affectionate message from Tang Hongmei, deputy secretary and president of the Party Committee of Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, the conference kicked off: famous experts and professors in the field were invited to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of anesthetic sleep and perioperative management. The lecture is wonderful and rich. Aiming at the current research hotspots in the field of day surgery and perioperative, it provides great help to solve difficult problems in clinical work. During the meeting, scholars jointly discussed and shared the development of day surgery and perioperative management and the latest theoretical research results of sleep disorders, with a strong academic atmosphere on the spot.

This meeting has greatly enriched and expanded the clinical work vision of medical personnel related to anesthesia and perioperative medicine in Chengdu and Chongqing.
