On the morning of December 31, 2024, the Secretariat of Chengdu High tech Medical Association organized the 14th Party and Government Joint Meeting of 2024, which was chaired by Comrade Zeng Bin, Secretary of the Party Branch, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Chengdu High tech Medical Association.

At the meeting, the party branch secretary conveyed the spirit of studying the Central Economic Work Conference.

The meeting pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Central Economic Work Conference comprehensively summarized the economic work in 2024, deeply analyzed the current economic situation, and systematically deployed the economic work in 2025, which pointed out the direction for us to do a good job and provided fundamental guidance.

The meeting listened to and reviewed the work reports of various departments of the Secretariat of the Society for December 2024, the progress of key projects, and the work plan for January 2025. The meeting reviewed and approved issues related to the establishment of the special committee, the replacement of the special committee, and human resources assessment and incentives.

The leaders of the Secretariat provided individual comments on the progress of each department's work and put forward specific requirements for the next steps of work:

One is to deepen the guidance of Party building, continuously consolidate grassroots foundations, promote business development, fully leverage the role of grassroots Party organizations as fortresses and Party members as pioneers and models, and build a Party building work system that leads Party building, links industries, and integrates development. Actively developing new party members, increasing organizational vitality, and playing a greater role in strengthening the party building work of medical institutions and academic organizations in various systems within the healthcare industry.

Secondly, we must conscientiously summarize various types of work for this year, commend and reward advanced individuals, advocate for practical work, hard work, and skillful work, and encourage innovation, creation, and excellence. As 2025 approaches, it is necessary to adhere to the principle of putting work first at all levels, mobilize positive factors from all aspects, accelerate the pace of work, solidly do a good job in next year's key work, ensure the successful conclusion of the 14th Five Year Plan, and strive to take the initiative for the development of the 15th Five Year Plan.

The third is to deepen collaborative development, accelerate collaborative innovation, and carry out multi field linkage and cooperation. To utilize centralized and coordinated management tools, form departmental synergy, and provide high-quality membership services with high standards; Strive to cultivate high-quality academic conferences, focus on innovative resources, combine conferences with exhibitions, and explore diversified development paths; Deepen the upgrading of industries and ignite a new engine for promoting high-quality development of the society through technological innovation.

The meeting also put forward specific requirements for the safety and stability work at the end and beginning of the year, requiring solid efforts to prevent risks, ensure safety, maintain stability, and promote development, in order to safeguard the efficient and stable operation of the society.
