On March 21, 2025, in order to keep up with the development trend of artificial intelligence technology and explore innovative applications of AI in the medical field, the Chengdu High tech Medical Association held the "DeepSeek craze, looking at the application value of AI in medical scenarios". This course attracted more than 100 management personnel from medical institutions, research institutes, medical technology enterprises and other fields to jointly explore the future trend of deep integration of AI technology and medical scenarios.
This course invites Mr. Li Ke, General Manager and co-founder of Chengdu Sanyi Zhihui Technology Co., Ltd., as the keynote speaker. Mr. Li holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and studied under Academician Hu Shimin. He has over ten years of rich experience in intelligent and digital upgrading in the field of healthcare. He led the team to develop comprehensive solutions and products based on new generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things, which have been widely applied in multiple segmented fields such as hospitals, disease control, biopharmaceuticals, and food production
In the course, Teacher Li conducted an in-depth analysis of the reasons for DeepSeek's popularity from the perspectives of technology, business, strategy, and international perspectives. He also outlined the development history of large-scale model AI technology, including the advancement of the GPT series, as well as important projects such as the AlphaFold protein structure prediction AI tool and the Repass case diagnosis tool. He also looked forward to the future development direction of AI, such as intelligent agent AI, multimodal AI, MCP (Large Model Context Protocol), etc., and predicted that by 2028, 15% of daily decisions will be automated through AI.
When talking about the impact of AI on the healthcare industry, Teacher Li believes that AI will profoundly affect the healthcare industry in terms of diagnosis and treatment models, hospital management, doctor-patient relationships, and other aspects. AI will drive the evolution of diagnosis and treatment models from empirical medicine and evidence-based medicine to data intelligence, achieving personalized diagnosis and improving the efficiency of auxiliary diagnosis; Promote the intelligent upgrade of hospital management and incorporate multimodal data into auxiliary diagnosis; Reconstructing the doctor-patient relationship, challenging the authority of doctors, but also bringing about professional anxiety and responsibility pressure. Faced with challenges, doctors need to have the ability to obtain real-time diagnosis and treatment knowledge, collaborate with diagnosis and treatment knowledge databases, medical record databases, and personal experience to communicate with patients.
In order to provide students with a more intuitive understanding of the application of AI in medical scenarios, Teacher Li demonstrated on site how to quickly generate systematic information surveys based on patient complaints, and import CT and X-ray images to form comprehensive diagnostic recommendations through the interconnection of information systems. This demonstration opened up new insights for the students and gave them a deeper understanding of the practical applications of AI technology.
At the end of the course, Teacher Li had a forty minute interactive communication with the students. The students actively asked questions and, based on their own work experience, raised many questions about the application of AI technology. Teacher Li patiently answered and guided everyone to think systematically about the problem, gradually finding the answer.
