In order to further enhance the level of grassroots medical personnel in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney related diseases, promote understanding of new developments and trends in the discipline, and strengthen academic exchanges in the field of kidney disease, the "2025 Chengdu High tech Medical Association Second Kidney Disease Special Committee Seventh Academic Annual Meeting and CKD Full Process Management and Blood Purification Technology New Progress Training Course" hosted by Chengdu High tech Medical Association and organized by San Song Nephrology Department was successfully held in Chengdu from March 7th to 8th, 2025.
The conference invited many well-known nephrology experts in China to conduct in-depth discussions on early screening, accurate diagnosis, full process management of CKD, as well as the latest developments, clinical applications, and quality control of blood purification technology. We have built a high-level academic platform for everyone, promoted communication and cooperation among peers, and jointly promoted the development of nephrology in China.
The final of the "Kidney" Case Competition, Smart Collision - Nephrologist Case Competition, was successfully held on March 7, 2025. After fierce competition, Dr. Zhu Tingting from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University won the first prize, Dr. Lu Fangcao from Ya'an People's Hospital and Dr. Tong Yuna from Chengdu Third People's Hospital won the second prize, Dr. He Jiali from Chengdu First People's Hospital, Dr. Yan Chengjing from Sansong Nephrology Department, and Dr. Lu Xiaomei from 363 Hospital won the third prize, Dr. Liu Shuhuan from 363 Hospital, Dr. Tang Jincheng from Chuanbei Medical College Affiliated Hospital, and Dr. Ren Jianfei from Jianyang People's Hospital won the Excellence Award. San Song Kidney Department won the Excellent Organization Award.
The Second General Meeting of the Nephrology Committee of Chengdu High tech Medical Association was successfully held on March 7, 2025. Professor Fu Ping, Honorary Chairman of the Second Nephrology Committee and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and Professor Ai He, Vice President and Deputy Secretary General of Chengdu High tech Medical Association, were invited to attend the conference and deliver speeches.
Professor Fu Ping, on behalf of the special committee, warmly welcomes and sincerely thanks all the members attending this conference! He stated that under the leadership of Chairman Chen Dezheng and the joint efforts of all members, the Second Nephrology Special Committee has achieved remarkable results. However, with the aggravation of population aging and the change of lifestyle, the incidence rate of kidney disease is on the rise, which has brought a heavy burden to society and patients. I hope everyone can work together with more enthusiasm and solid work to promote the development of nephrology, and make greater contributions to improving the health level of kidney disease patients and building a healthy China!
Vice President Ai He first extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the conference. He stated that the Nephrology Special Committee has carried out effective work in organizational construction, party building activities, academic exchanges, scientific research, scientific popularization, and serving the grassroots. The Special Committee has shown a good development momentum, and he hopes that all members of the Special Committee will promote the nephrology cause to new heights with more firm determination and practical actions.
Professor Chen Dezheng reported on the extensive work done by the Special Committee in 2024, including organizational construction, academic activities, grassroots medical technology, and science popularization and health education, and achieved outstanding results. Professor Chen Dezheng stated that in 2025, he will continue to lead all members of the special committee to uphold the purpose of "serving patients and promoting the development of the discipline", work together, and contribute more to the development of nephrology in China.
The opening ceremony of the academic conference was presided over by Professor Cao Fang from San Song Nephrology. Firstly, on behalf of the organizing committee, Professor Cao paid high tribute to the female medical workers who are fighting on the front line of kidney disease prevention and treatment! Thank you to our female compatriots for their hard work! We are about to celebrate the 20th World Kidney Day and express our sincere gratitude to all the experts and colleagues who have devoted their efforts to the cause of kidney health! As the 20th World Kidney Day approaches, renowned experts in the field of kidney disease from both inside and outside the province have been invited to give 34 specialized lectures on kidney disease diagnosis and treatment, imparting new advances and technologies with the aim of promoting the continuous improvement of kidney disease diagnosis and treatment levels in primary healthcare institutions.
Minister Xin Juan of the Academic Activities Department of Chengdu High tech Medical Association presided over the award ceremony. Professor Chen Dezheng from Jianyang People's Hospital, Professor Wang Li from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Chen Min from Chengdu First People's Hospital, Professor Cao Fang from Sichuan Sansong Medical Management Group, Professor Tao Yuhong from West China Second Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Zhu Dan from 363 Hospital, and Professor Zhu Zaizhi from Meishan People's Hospital respectively presented trophies and honorary certificates to one group and nine individuals.
