To further enhance the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck surgical diseases and improve therapeutic outcomes, the Seminar on Surgical Immunotherapy for Head and Neck Tumors, jointly organized by the Hunan Health Service Association and the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held in Changsha on March 23, 2025.

       The conference brought together renowned domestic experts to discuss the latest advances and clinical applications of immunotherapy in the field of head and neck tumor surgery. Head and neck tumors are characterized by complex anatomy and high treatment difficulty, yet immunotherapy, as a breakthrough therapy, has provided patients with significant survival benefits and improved quality of life. This seminar focused on cutting-edge topics such as innovative strategies for immunotherapy combined with surgery, biomarker screening, drug resistance mechanisms, and personalized treatment, aiming to foster multidisciplinary collaboration and promote standardized diagnosis and treatment as well as translational research. By sharing typical cases and practical experiences, the conference provided clinicians with new insights, ultimately improving patient outcomes and supporting the implementation of the "Healthy China" strategy.
