Digestive tract tumors are among the most prevalent tumors in China. The incidence of colorectal cancer ranks second in China, accounting for nearly 50% of the global incidence of colorectal cancer. The mortality rate remains high, accounting for half of the global mortality rate of colorectal cancer. The diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer are complex and there is an urgent need for standardized diagnosis and treatment, so as to improve the living situation of patients with colorectal cancer and promote the realization of the "Healthy China 2030" goal. To promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and enhance academic exchanges among scholars specializing in digestive tract tumors in different regions, the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association held a "Breaking Through Intestinal Rules: Diagnosis and Treatment Conference for Difficult Cases of Colorectal Cancer" on March 6, 2025. This conference invited experts in digestive tract tumors from across the country to share and discuss the standardized treatment of digestive tract tumors. The meeting was held in a hybrid format of online and offline, with over 60 participants.
