To advance the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and promote the academic progress in the fields of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and cardiovascular health in Sichuan Province, the "Fifth Academic Conference of the Cardiovascular Specialty Committee of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association & Training Workshop on New Advances in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for Cardiovascular Diseases" was held on June 27-28, 2025, at the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The conference invited renowned domestic (provincial and international) experts to deliver keynote speeches and share the latest concepts, advancements, and information in clinical cardiovascular medicine with peers. Attendees included TCM and integrated medicine cardiovascular specialists from across Sichuan and beyond.

       This conference brought together leading scholars and experts in the cardiovascular field, fostering innovation and application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment through the exchange of cutting-edge research and clinical experience. It provided a vital platform for elevating the prevention and treatment standards of cardiovascular diseases in China. Furthermore, the event strengthened the integration of regional medical resources, highlighted the unique advantages of TCM in cardiovascular care, and offered technical support and training opportunities for grassroots medical institutions.

       In addition, the annual academic conference enhanced communication and collaboration within the industry. By disseminating advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies as well as standardized operational protocols, it empowered clinicians to improve their professional skills, thereby enabling better patient care and enhancing the prognosis and quality of life for individuals with cardiovascular diseases.
