Against the backdrop of China’s aging population, extended life expectancy for women, and rapid improvements in material and cultural living standards, women’s health needs are increasingly growing. Significant challenges exist in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of common and frequent gynecological diseases, gynecologic tumors, and pelvic floor disorders. To further enhance the professional standards of gynecology, promote comprehensive, coordinated, and sustainable development in the field, and vigorously address and explore clinical issues—ultimately benefiting patients by providing improved clinical treatment plans—the "Inaugural Gynecology Committee Election Congress and 2025 Academic Conference," jointly organized by West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University and the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, is scheduled to take place on August 16, 2025, in Chengdu.
