To enhance the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of pediatric medical staff regarding children's growth and development as well as common critical diseases, and to strengthen their awareness of medical safety and quality control, on August 2, 2025, the "Progress Training Course on Diagnosis and Treatment of Children's Growth and Development and Common Critical Diseases" - a municipal continuing medical education project [Project Number: C25-01-106010526] - was successfully held in Jianyang, jointly organized by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, the Chengdu Women and Children's Health Association, and Jianyang People's Hospital. It attracted the participation of numerous pediatric medical staff from various provincial, municipal, county, and township medical institutions.

The training course invited renowned experts from Chongqing Medical University Children's Hospital, Southwest Medical University Affiliated Hospital, West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, Jianyang People's Hospital, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College to give specialized lectures. The content covered multiple hot and difficult areas such as genetic variations causing short stature, childhood obesity, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, precocious puberty, food allergies, functional dyspepsia, autoimmune encephalitis, severe asthma, childhood wheezing, neurocritical care, severe pneumonia, and septic shock. It closely combined clinical practice with the latest expert consensus, presenting an academic feast for the participants.

This training not only provided a valuable academic exchange platform for pediatric medical staff but also further strengthened the grassroots pediatric diagnosis and treatment service capabilities, which has positive significance for promoting the development of regional children's health services.

The Chengdu High-tech Medical Association will continue to be committed to promoting the development of grassroots medical education, building higher-level academic exchange platforms, and will hold more high-quality continuing medical education projects in the future. We welcome medical staff to continue to pay attention and actively participate.
