From July 19th to 20th, 2025, the Fourth Academic Annual Conference of the First Clinical Pathology Branch of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the provincial continuing education project "The Second Training Course for Key Resident Training Base Teachers - Pathological Diagnosis of Chest Diseases and Molecular Detection of Lung Cancer" were successfully held in Chengdu. This conference, building on the academic brand of chest disease pathological diagnosis from previous sessions, continues to focus on the hot and difficult issues in clinical pathological diagnosis work. It has attracted over 200 experts, scholars, branch committee members and colleagues in pathology from hospitals at all levels across the country to gather together and jointly discuss the latest progress in chest disease pathological diagnosis and molecular detection of lung cancer.

This training course takes enhancing the professional skills and clinical diagnostic capabilities of pathologists as its core objective and has specially invited many authoritative experts in the industry to participate. During the two-day conference, many experts from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University, Chengdu Second People's Hospital, Chongqing Medical University, Neijiang First People's Hospital and Qu County People's Hospital gathered in Chengdu, jointly presenting an academic feast.

Experts from West China Hospital of Sichuan University shared their professional insights and rich clinical experience on the core topics of pathological diagnosis of chest diseases and molecular detection of lung cancer. These lectures not only covered key areas such as the diagnostic process of lung cancer biopsy specimens and molecular detection of non-small cell lung cancer, but also delved deeply into the key points of differential diagnosis of related pathological features, providing valuable academic guidance for the participants.

Experts from the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University, Chengdu Second People's Hospital and Chongqing Medical University also gave special lectures on topics such as pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors, immunoneoadjuvant therapy for non-small cell lung cancer and pulmonary metastatic tumors respectively.
