To deepen the construction of medical research capabilities and effectively address the practical issues faced by medical institutions in the region during project application, and to enhance the quality and success rate of research project applications, the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association held the "Experience Sharing Training Session on Pain Points, Difficulties and Doubts in Medical Research Project Applications" on August 6, 2025. This event was a specialized follow-up activity following the basic training on project applications in February. Over 80 leaders in charge of research, project leaders and key research personnel from more than 30 medical institutions both within and outside the district participated in this training.

This training session specially invited Ai He, the Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, to give the main lecture. Secretary-General Ai, combining his years of experience in scientific research management, deeply analyzed typical issues in project applications from four dimensions: 'policy orientation grasp,' 'innovation embodiment,' 'research method design,' and 'budget preparation norms.' Through comparative analysis of unsuccessful review cases and excellent high-scoring project initiation cases, he visually presented the key scoring points and common pitfalls in the application process.

During the interactive session, participants actively raised questions and engaged in discussions on specific issues such as "optimization of research topic directions", "feasibility argumentation of research methods", and "writing skills for grant proposals". Secretary-General Ai provided detailed answers to each question by citing examples and particularly emphasized the importance of "clinical demand orientation" and "research integrity".

Through this training, the participants believed that the content of this training was highly targeted and had significant guiding significance, especially in the aspects of "interpretation of review standards" and "writing norms for bids". They stated that this training directly addressed the pain points of application, and the solutions provided were highly operational, greatly helping to improve the quality of applications. The Chengdu High-tech Medical Association will continue to play the role of advisor and bridge, and through a stratified and classified training system, assist medical science and technology workers in breaking through research bottlenecks, providing solid support for the high-quality development of medical research in the High-tech Zone.
