Illuminating the "vision" world with professionalism, warming the community with public welfare - Chengdu High-tech Medical Association held a mobilization meeting for eye vision talents to jointly build a "community health station"

In order to fulfill its social responsibility and industry commitment as the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, on the afternoon of July 7th, the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, in collaboration with the Linwei Fund of the Sichuan Urban-Rural Integration Talent Cultivation Research Foundation, as well as some experts and members of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association's Myopia Prevention and Visual Health Industry Alliance, held an eye vision talent mobilization meeting. The meeting called on experts and members of the industry alliance to actively participate in community public welfare, explore and establish a new model of "community health stations", and provide safe, professional, and high-quality medical and health volunteer services to grassroots residents.

At the meeting, Zhao Weiwei, Deputy Director of the Business Development Department of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, gave a systematic explanation on the background, connotation, overall planning, and implementation significance of the construction of "community health stations". She pointed out that the construction of health stations is an innovative attempt in the grassroots health service model. This model is not only a positive action in response to the national "Healthy China" strategy, but also a beneficial exploration to improve the current insufficient supply of public medical and health resources. This model will promote the transformation of medical services from "passive supply" to "active outreach" by leveraging the resources of the government, associations, professional institutions, medical enterprises, and grassroots communities, enhancing residents' sense of participation, experience, acquisition, trust, and happiness. Through digital and intelligent driving, public welfare guidance, and resource integration, it is expected to achieve the bidirectional integration of "universal health" and "industrial upgrading", building an inclusive and accessible medical and health community.

Zhu Jin, former director of the ophthalmology department at the 363 Hospital affiliated to Southwest Medical University (a Grade A hospital), spoke highly of the forward-looking, comprehensive, and feasible "community health station" model. He stated that this model would effectively enhance the efficiency of grassroots medical services, achieve precise allocation and efficient utilization of medical resources, and serve as an important supplement to the community public service system. Professor Zhu Jin called on the experts present to actively participate in community volunteer services, advocated for "corporate benevolence and individual kindness" in the healthcare industry, and contributed professional expertise to improving residents' health levels and strengthening the shortcomings of grassroots medical care.
