Deepening the collaborative education mechanism and promoting the practice of industry-education integration - Sichuan Vocational College of Nursing visited and exchanged with Chengdu High-tech Medical Association


On the morning of July 16th, Yao Yongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Sichuan Vocational College of Nursing, led a delegation consisting of several department heads and counselors from the college, along with Zhou Yonggang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Sichuan Medical Association, to visit and exchange ideas with the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. The purpose of this activity was to deepen cooperation between the college and the association, promote the integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and foster talent development.

At the beginning of the visit, the delegation from the college first visited the demonstration area for the medical-engineering integration innovation achievements of the society, where they systematically learned about the society's key projects and development models in terms of industrial collaboration, achievement transformation, and external cooperation. Dean Yao Yongping spoke highly of the achievements made by the society in promoting medical-engineering integration and collaborative innovation, and expressed that there is vast potential for cooperation between the college and the society in directions such as industrial transformation.

Subsequently, both parties engaged in a discussion centered around themes such as "industry collaboration, industry-education

 integration, and joint talent cultivation". Secretary-General Zeng Bin of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association comprehensively

 introduced the association's development history, core business segments, operational mechanisms, and strategic planning. 

He also suggested that both parties leverage their respective advantageous resources to jointly establish academic organizations, 

form professional alliances, and build long-term cooperation mechanisms.

During the symposium, Dean Yao Yongping provided a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the college, highlighting that the three key majors of nursing, medicine, and medical aesthetics are highly aligned with the business of the association. Dean Yao proposed that the college hopes to collaborate with the association to establish new collaborative platforms such as "industry-industry communities" and "teacher-education integrators", exploring the deep integration of professional course content, industry project needs, and teaching resources. At the same time, she looked forward to jointly building internship and practice bases with the association, promoting the targeted delivery of high-quality talents to partner enterprises, and effectively alleviating students' employment difficulties.





In addition, participants from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the target directions, collaboration models, and party building work for future cooperation. They also explored key topics such as the integrated construction of "industry-university-research-application" and the promotion of high-quality development. Focusing on practical issues commonly faced by students, such as "lack of work experience," targeted solutions were formulated, and dedicated personnel were assigned to ensure the effective implementation of subsequent work.

After the meeting, accompanied by Secretary-General Zeng Bin and Minister Cheng Shuyang, the delegation from the college visited Tianfu International Biotech Town and Chengdu High-tech Zhengguangxing Hospital Management Co., Ltd. for exchanges, gaining firsthand insights into industrial innovation-driven development, transformation and upgrading, as well as the implementation and transformation of research outcomes. This visit further enhanced mutual trust and understanding between the college and the association, marking a new chapter in deepening cooperation and promoting mutual development.
