Digestive tract tumors are among the most common types of tumors in China. The incidence of colorectal cancer ranks second in China, accounting for nearly 50% of the global incidence of colorectal cancer. The mortality rate is even higher, making up half of the global mortality rate of colorectal cancer. The diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer is complex and there is an urgent need for standardized diagnosis and treatment to improve the living conditions of colorectal cancer patients and promote the realization of the "Healthy China 2030" goal. To promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and enhance academic exchanges among scholars of digestive tract tumors in different regions, the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association held the "Breaking Through Intestinal Rules: Diagnosis and Treatment Series Conference for Difficult Cases of Colorectal Cancer (Second Session)" on September 16, 2025. This conference invited experts in digestive tract tumors from across the country to share and discuss the standardized treatment of digestive tract tumors.
