In response to the severe challenges currently faced in the prevention and control of chronic diseases and to continuously advance the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular metabolic diseases in China, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association organized this 14th edition of the Medical Association Innovation Exchange Academic Conference Series & the Symposium Series on "Dyslipidemia, Hyperglycemia, and Hypertension from a Whole-Population Perspective: Management and Challenges of Comorbidities."
This conference aimed to establish a high-level platform for academic exchange, integrating innovative concepts with practical experience. It focused on exploring systematic, individualized, and integrated interventions for patients with the "Three Highs" comorbidities within a life-cycle health management framework. Its profound significance lies in bringing together multidisciplinary expertise to break down the barriers of traditional single-disease management, fostering collaboration across fields such as endocrinology, cardiovascular medicine, nephrology, neurology, and general practice. By shifting the focus from single-disease management to the holistic approach of comorbidities, the conference seeks to drive innovation in diagnostic and treatment paradigms. This will not only enhance the ability of healthcare professionals to comprehensively assess and manage complex clinical scenarios but also translate cutting-edge research into widely applicable clinical strategies. Ultimately, the conference aims to inject robust momentum into building a more efficient and precise chronic disease prevention and treatment system, contributing solid professional expertise to improving the health of China's population and advancing the "Healthy China" strategy.
