On the morning of October 24, 2025, despite the continuous autumn rain and a sudden drop in temperature in Deyang, the "Grassroots Free Clinic Activity (Deyang Station) by the ILD Specialist Committee of Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association" was still successfully held as scheduled. It stood firm against wind and rain to safeguard the respiratory health of the people.

This activity brought together renowned experts from disciplines such as Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. They included Professor Jin Hong, Chairman of the Interstitial Lung Disease Specialist Committee of Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association; Chief Physician Wang Yuzhu from Chengdu Second People's Hospital; Associate Chief Physician Wan Chun from West China Hospital of Sichuan University; Associate Chief Physician Liu Qianqian from Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital; Associate Chief Physician Xiong Liubo from Chengdu BOE Hospital; as well as a number of local experts in Deyang. Through this popular science and free clinic activity, a professional and warm respiratory health protection campaign was delivered to patients in Deyang and surrounding areas.

Although the weather was unfavorable, the enthusiasm at the free clinic site remained undiminished. Many patients came early and waited in the rain, among whom some even traveled from other places specially, hoping to obtain diagnosis and treatment suggestions from authoritative experts. In the rain, experts persisted in conducting multi-disciplinary consultations. They listened patiently to patients' statements, carefully reviewed imaging data, distributed brochures on pulmonary fibrosis knowledge to the people who came in the rain, and provided professional condition analysis and personalized treatment suggestions. The rain failed to stop the doctors' benevolence, and touching scenes of diagnosis and treatment were constantly staged at the site.

This activity not only provided practical services to a large number of patients but also offered valuable learning opportunities for grassroots medical staff, effectively promoting the homogenization of the diagnosis and treatment level of interstitial lung disease in the region.
